Refresher Course

Duration: 1/2 day
Prerequisites: Entry level or higher certification

The Refresher is mandatory if you not dived within the last 12 months. (Exceptions being divers with Instructor or higher rating or divers that can show logged proof of over 100 dives.) At the cost of Rs.500, the Refresher Program can be added to any dive package of your choice.

If its has been over 5 years since your last dive you will need to complete the PADI Scuba Review first instead as a quick refresher is not enough.

The morning starts off with the Instructor or Divemaster who completes a quick run through of all the important aspects of diving theory followed by a brush up of setting up equipment.

Once at the dive site the 7 most important skills in diving are repeated in shallow water so you get comfortable with them again. This is then followed by an easy relaxed dive to a maximum depth of 18m with the Instructor/Divemaster to get you back into the rhythm of things. This dive will be counted as dive one of the chosen package.

The refresher is ideal if you have had a short break from diving or if you are a newly qualified diver that has not been diving for a few months. It allows you to recollect your skills and theory and promotes your safety as a diver.

Our staff is extremely experienced and will do their level best to ensure that you are able to complete the refresher. However if you choose to do the refresher program but are unable to go down with the rest of the group despite the Divemaster/ Instructor's best efforts, you will still be charged full price for the program.
